Dear summer, usually we have pretty good relationship. I'm usually ready for a break from school and everything, but I'm already a little bored of you. Dear Texas weather, I realize you're obviously unaware of that fact that it's still May, and you're already being ridiculously hot, you should probably work on that when you have a moment (see: as soon as possible). Dear distance, I really don't like you at all. It's bad enough you had Michael during the school semester, but now summer too. It's just awful! Dear apartment complexes, I had no idea that you were going to cost so much money to have two bedrooms and two baths. I don't think that should be too much to ask for. Now you're simply being greedy, and I do not approve. Dear school districts, the school year is coming to a close, and I would really like to be getting calls very soon about interviews. I really, REALLY want a teaching job. Dear education tests, it is ridiculous that each one of you costs $120. You're on the computer and don't require any supplies, so I really don't understand your price tag. Dear September, please hurry up and get here, I am more than ready to tie the knot, and about four months just sounds like forever still. Dear future home, the thought of decorating you has me very excited. I hope that my DIY skills are as good as I expect! Dear blog layout, I'm really not happy with you at all. I have to find a way to make you look much better.
Best of luck with landing work!!! I've just been through that singularly uncomfortable process too (my current employer is letting me go), but something did come up. Take heart - if I can find a job, anyone can!
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding a teaching job! They are very difficult to get here in New Zealand too at the moment, which is very frustrating. :S
ReplyDeleteFound your blog on VWB. :)
You will find work! Its not impossible. I want to go into teaching myself. I was recently in Texas and the weather is definitely something crazy!
